Girls Varsity 3rd Boys JV 2nd

The 2021 NWCC meet was a great day for the Wildcats.  Despite 80 degree heat the kids ran many personal bests.  The girls JV team took home 3rd place with two 8th grade runners Moira Jackman and Jane Dolsen running their last race!  Grace Trunnell ran under 14 minutes and took home 4th.  Claire Salatino was just over 14th minutes and finished 7th.   In the JV race, Katherine Courtney Kiera Trunnell and Erin Frugo all ran in the top 20 of a crowded race.  Congrats to all the girls!

The JV boys capped off a great season that saw a number of top finishes.  The team came up just short with a 2nd place finish.  Danny Dolsen took 1st place overall in the division with a 5:49 mile.  Kyle Greazel and Aidan Mongovern also finished 7th and 8th respectively.  Nate Gauthier ran a personal best and joined Connor East and Tommy Jackman inside the top 20 in the biggest race of the year.

Thank you so much to Coach Anderson and the amazing Mr. Hall for coaching this season.  We are already excited for the 2022 season and can’t wait for even more Wildcats to run for OLW next year.
